Gimme Chocolate

So I am totally craving chocolate right now. Yummmmm. I need some because it makes me happy and...well that is the only reason why. Today is Tuesday and that only means 2 days till the weekend (since this is a short week at work). Work was super busy yesterday and busy again today but slowing coming back down.

So over the weekend we had quite a good time. On Friday night Steve and I went to a bonfire with some (interesting) friends of his.

Saturday I rained and rained and rained all day. It was very disapointing since I live for the weekends. I got up with Sadie early and did my hair and makeup so cute since I wanted to stop by the Secretary of State to get an enhanced drivers licence (so we can go to canada, since I have been BEGGING Steve to take me back to Niagara Falls and his current excuse is that I can't cross the border). Well, we get out and it is quite soggy so I get to the SOS and they are closed! What!? So needless to say I found out the Michigan government is on furlogh days on this particular friday and saturday. Grrrrr. Well, Sadie and I headed off to Wal-Mart for our weekly grocery shopping and stopped by to see my bestest friend Steph who is the Optometry manager. So by the time we left it was not just raining but like terential rain. So we headed home to drop off the groceries and Steve texted me to come see him for lunch so since he was working 9-6 I told him I would come up there after Sadie took a nap. I tried to put Sadie down for her nap and she wanted nothing to do with it. So I just decided to not fight with her and put her in the car and go hoping that she would fall asleep on the way there and we could just eat in the car. On the way there I get another text to nevermind. So I was about half way there and I just decided to stop off at the library for a bit but the only problem was Sadie was now sleeping. So I get to the library and begin to carefully get Sadie out of the car without waking her. Well, I don't know what I was thinking because as soon as one little droplet of rain hit her she was MAD. So we got inside and by this time she was wide awake. I wanted to find a book called The Five Languages of Love since I thought it may be another good book for Steve and I to read. Well, Sadie was so unhappy to be in her stroller and the computer to look the books up was not working well and Sadie continuted to squirm and scream so I could not end up finding it but did put it on hold.

Sadie did enjoy the kids area and did pick out a few books for herself.
She is doing awesome with her signing and even signs "daddy" now and it is so adorable.

So my mom called and said that she and my Aunt Linda were coming over and we were going out to eat. So Sadie and I went home and once again I tried to put her down for a nap and once again she faught and faught and faught me on it. So my Aunt Linda came over and said she wanted to go to Dave and Busters for dinner. We went in and had dinner and then played some games.
Then Sunday we went to church (yeah for us) and afterward I had a wonderful drink of sweet tea. Afterward Steve took me to the mall because he said he wanted me to look at summer clothes. Now this is very strange behavior coming from my husband because he hates the mall and he especially hates going when I am in a shopping mood. Well, I just was not in the shopping mood at all. I went to Express and looked at some clothes but nothing really struck me and I didn't feel like spending the money at the time.

I think this event had something to do with us partaking in the Love Dare. This is an awesome book and has really been helping us to bond and take some time for each other. All married couples should get this book and do it together! We have not seen Fireproof the move yet that is based on this book (or vice versa?) but I do have it on reservation (43 people ahead of me!) at the library.
So thanks to the magic of TV and the internet and my new favorite site called Hulu I have been catching up on and enjoying many shows.
Dating in the dark...very interesting concept!
America's Got Talent...have to watch something now that I am boycotting the Paula-less Idol.
Intervention...suspensful but I can only take so much of this since I have had really bad experiences with addicts in my life.
