Anything else?

So it seems lately everything is going wrong. Just ever have one of those days?

Our roof needs to be replaced since a branch went through it and when my husband went up to fix it he said it is sinking in places. Okay, there is an $8000 expense we were not planning on.

Yesterday when Steve was driving to work, his work van broke down, repair costs $1300 again another unexpected expense.

Now today my mom is in the hospital being held for observation because she was having horrible stomach pains. Did she call to tell me last night when she went in? No! So I am going there right after work.

Then Sadie's school calls to say someone in HER class has been diagnosed with H1N1 Swine Flu. Grrr.

To top it off our microwave breaks down and our blinds in our front room have been ruined by a curious toddler.

So this is a great time for me to stop and say the 3 things I am thankful for...

1. Laughter (UPDATE:This is a dedication to my mom since we sat and laughed all night watching Roseanne and looking at Facebook while she was waiting for her test)
2. My Ipod, cell phone and GPS (because I don't know how I survived without these before)
3. McDonald's (because it is quick, cheap and has the best sweet tea)
