So far this has been a very nice and relaxing weekend. I found an exact replica of Sadie's old bathing suit at our Wal Mart for the same $7 price so it is back and ready for action. Yesterday, Sadie and I slept in till almost 10 a.m.! That's right I said 10 a.m.! It was amazing! Afterward, we had lunch with Daddy (McDonald's) and then once Daddy came home Mommy left for a well deserved wonderful pedicure and manicure. I keep trying to call for an appointment at this new salon called Luv by my house. They have a mani and pedi for $30 and it looks really nice inside but everytime I call they are booked like weeks in advance so it is annoying. I ended up going to my usual salon called Lily Nail and they did a good job. It was a nice time.Today Sadie had her first swimming lessons at Lifetime and it was so much fun. We did several different holds and games to get baby used to being in the water. Sadie just loved it and the teacher would sing humpty dumpty and then the kids would jump in. Well, basically Sadie was the only one participating because the other two boys are only like 9 months and they were both extremely cranky. Then we went in the shallow end and the kids had to grab hoops out of the water and Sadie took a nose dive right in, lol. She just laughed about it though. We couldn't get many pictures of her because "there is no camera or cell phone use at the pool." I understand this rule and all but it kind of made me mad my mom could only snap one picture of my little girl and even then the lifeguard had to double check that no one else was in the photo or background. Geeze.
After that my mom, Sadie and I had lunch at Chipotle which was so good. I had a burrito which I have not had in forever so it was very delectable. I love Chipotle but Steve can't stand it so it is generally one of the places my mom and I visit when he is not there. It is so good! While we were eating I asked my mom if she has heard this new catch phrase, hot mess? I have been hearing this everywhere and even the women stocking the baby food at the store were saying it. Surprisingly my mom said she has not heard this which was a shock since she is the queen of all pop culture.

Afterward, Sadie and I went to Old Navy to grab some of the $2 tank tops but by the time we arrived they were all sold out of the women's but I still managed to get Sadie 3 for $6 so that was definitely a bargain. As the guy was doing my exchange he dropped a hangar and then he was like "Man I am a HOT MESS today!" I go, "Is that like the new saying?" The guy then informed me that everyone is saying it and I should be too. Once I figure out what a hot mess is I may do just that.
We went home and Sadie took a little nap while I cleaned the bathroom which was in need of some TLC. I decided I was going to replace Sadie's soft faucet cover and the mat after many, many failed attempts of trying to clean both they were just done for. So as soon as Sadie woke up we headed to buybuy baby to pick up the new faucet cover and a few other things.
This is the one I picked out! Adorable and most importantly mold resistant, well we will see how that goes.
During the shopping trip Sadie picked up a new book.
