Cider Mill

So I am a total slacker! I did not realize I never posted photos from our family trip to the cider mill on 10/4/9. The "adventurers" were my mom, my mother-in-law, father-in-law, Steve, Sadie and myself.

What is a cider mill you ask? I too have never heard of this place/thing (I wasn't sure what it was) until I moved from Florida to Michigan.
Basically a cider mill is a fall tradition, it is a place where you go for fall fun. The main attraction is the cold, fresh apple cider (tastes like apple juice but it is thicker) and warm cinnamon sugar donuts.
We ALWAYS (contrary to the fact that Steve feels they are "all the same") visit Blake's Orchard!
Some of them also offer fudge, pies, vegetables and carmel apples as well.
Most of them have activities and at Blake's this includes pony rides, hay rides, a petting farm and more.
The day we went it was a perfect fall day and we grabbed a caramel apple, some doughnuts and cider and ate outside while Sadie napped.
Once Sadie woke up we walked around a bit and looked at the different pumpkins they had and she really enjoyed the painted one's.

My mom, mother-in-law and father-in-law shopping for veggies.

Once you visit the cider mill, fall has officially started.
