Disney January Hours Posted!

I am just so elated this morning! Disney FINALLY posted the operating hours for January! For any true Disney planner this is one of the best days because true "planning" can really begin. I have already made lists for all of the following...

Opening and closings
Extra magic hours (so we can avoid parks on these days)
Crowd calendar listings from Touringplans.com (to determine the best park)
Parade dates and times
Firework dates and times
Keeping in mind that we can not do Magic Kingdom and Epcot two days in a row because my in-laws will need a day off in between each one

So then around this I had to try and plan our dining reservations...

Hollywood and Vine
Le Cellier or Biergarden
Chef Mickeys (Since Crystal Palace will be closed) or Liberty Tree (if they have breakfast to replace Crystal Palace)
Cape May

Oh and A fireworks cruise!!!

So here is what I came up with...

Saturday, January 23, 2010-Arrive, Downtown Disney, Grocery Shopping, pick up tickets
Sunday, January 24, 2010-Hollywood Studios, Hollywood and Vine for dinner and Fantasmic
Monday, January 25, 2010-Epcot, Le Cellier (hopefully!) or Biergarden for dinner, Illuminations
Tuesday, January 26, 2010-Animal Kingdom (we are taking our lunch), 1/2 day
Wednesday, January 27, 2010-Magic Kingdom, Chef Mickeys or Liberty Tree for breakfast
Thursday, January 28, 2010-None
Friday, January 29, 2010-Magic Kingdom, Cape May for dinner, Fireworks Cruise
Saturday, January 30, 2010-Depart :(

It is all so complicated because our 90 day mark is on October 25 which means we can start making reservations for January 23. We would have to call back each consecutive day for every day that hits the 90 day mark, so for example, we would have to call on October 29 for our reservations on January 27.

Well, on October 27, 2009 Disney is going back to allowing guests to make reservations 180 days in advance and not just 90. So this means that on October 27, 2009 along with 39483493472394732 other people, I will be trying to make all of my reservations for all of the days except January 24 which I will make on October 26.

Then another problem, some nights we will have party's of 11 or 12 which you have to call group dining and not just regular dining since we have a party over 10. So not only do I need to call recreation for the cruise, regular dining and now group dining.

So I am trying to recruit my mom to help me out on Tuesday morning and get her to call group dining to get Le Cellier while I call to get the cruise and then both of us will call to try and get all of the others. Keep your fingers crossed.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh! So much stress, but it is the best stress in the world!
