So day one of my temporary vacation/layoff began today. My mom and I went to the zoo. We were originally supposed to go with my cousin but she couldn't go at the last minute. We decided to go anyway since we planned on it and all. The weather was a little dreary, there was no sun and a little drizzle but in all it was just right and not too hot or too cold. So Sadie and I took off at around 10:00 a.m. and headed to my moms.
On the way there Sadie picked up one of her Minnie Mouse dolls and goes "Mee Maue?" Finally she said it! All of my brainwashing is working, lol.
So when we got to the Zoo we started with the Butterflies.
We saw rhinos.
We saw a hippo during feeding time.
Monkeys (oops Apes).
Giraffes.
And took some pretty pictures by the fountain.
