Smile

So the last few days have been fun, well mostly.

Today: Had Cookie Crisp for breakfast with Sadie and then left the house around 9:30 a.m. Can you believe we had to wear pants because it was so chilly this morning? IT IS JULY!

Went to the library yet again to get a card only to find they do not open till 10:00 a.m. Headed over to Target to return some impulse buys from yesterday then over to the Mall at Partridge Creek.

This mall is so nice in the morning before it opens. Sadie played in the kids fruit and veggie playground. When I told Sadie it was time to go she started kicking and screaming and then bit me! I could not believe it. I tried to remain calm and simply buckled her in her stroller and took off. I showed her the water fountain and she seemed to calm down.

We went into Sephora where I got a bareminerals starter kit and a few other things ($60 eeeekkk). Then we stopped in a few more stores but she was so cranky I just stayed outside and walked around. We played in another fountain until it was time for lunch at California Pizza Kitchen with Jenni. It was so nice to see Jenni and catch up on old times. I could have sat there for another hour and talked but it was Sadie's nap time and she was on a very short fuse.

So we left there and stopped one more time at the Utica library to get a card. Luckily this time we were successful.

So after that we came home and Sadie went straight to sleep. In all she was a good girl except of course for the biting thing. Sadie is napping and I am eating ice cream and looking for something to watch but I think out of 200 channels 150 of them are showing Michael Jackson's funeral. I don't remember anything this big since Princess Diana died. Tonight I have a dentist appointment, lets hope for no cavities.

Yesterday: We left the house fairly early since of course Sadie was up. Our first stop was Target to see if they had her lost jelly shoe. No such luck.

So we shopped around for some things and found some really cheap baby clothes, like a shirt for .75! Sadie was not in the mood for shopping this time. She kept getting out of the cart or trying to stand up in the cart or screaming.

We left there and headed over to the Clinton Library where I was hoping to get a library card. Strike 2 for the day. I have to get one from my "home" library first which is the Utica library. So we played for a little bit in the awesome kids room and read a few books, Sadie attempted to pull books off the shelves, and then yet again Sadie threw a fit when I told her we were going bye bye.

Next stop was Kroger for some lunch meat. So I decide to put Sadie in a cart that has like a kids car on the front and she was being really good, at first. Then she twisted herself out of there like Houdini and all of a sudden was trying to climb out so I told her no and tried to put her in the regular cart and of course she started kicking and trowing a fit. An employee saw her kicking the car so hard it was rolling away and he held the cart while I put her in, thank you nice man.

So on the way home I called my mom and vented about how Sadie has been all day and she told me to calm down, lol. So instead of stressing myself out about making lunch I stopped at McDonalds. I know not the wisest choice but the easiest. As I pulled out of the drive thru, Sadie was asleep. Sweet Tea never tasted so good.

Steve got home and started doing some things in the yard and I made one of our favorite dinner-Pizza Mac.

After dinner Steve realized he needed some parts for what he was doing so we headed out to do some errands. First, we stopped at the Utica Library so I could get a library card at the Clinton Library. Of course my luck, their system was down. Then we headed over to Babies R Us to buy some latches for our bathroom and the rest of our kitchen since I am so tired of Sadie taking everything out of every cabinet every time she walks buy. Then Steve ran into Home Depot and we went back home. At 5:45 p.m

I left to go the gym and to get to the yoga class at 6:00 p.m. Well, I get there and the class does not start till 6:30 p.m. So I worked out a little till the class started and it felt good to work out and the teacher was really hard. I came home, took a shower, messed around online and then went to bed.

Sunday: We were up fairly early so decided to go to church. Sadie did not even cry when she was in the nursery this time so that was great. We had a nice service and enjoyed it very much. Afterward, we went to Steve's brothers for a little picnic.
